HYPERION-I
A downloadable game for Windows
Under a distant star, a lone space station is the first and last line of defense against incomprehensible horrors. However, there's more than meets the eye.
Do you remember?...
Controls:

Keyboard:
- Arrows: Aim
- A, D: Block
- Z, Space, Enter: Main Fire/Confirm
- X: Alt Fire
- Shift, X: Fast Text
- C: Skip Text
- Esc, Backspace: Main Menu (Hold)
Hints:
This is a finished short adventure that takes around 30 minutes to beat.
A gamepad is strongly recommended. The game is playable with a keyboard, but some fights might be more challenging.
When a missile is mid-air, pressing Alt Fire again will detonate it early. Useful in the case of bad aim!
If you'd rather just experience the story without the stress of combat, do not hesitate to enable "God mode" under the "Cheats" menu.
The "Stage select" menu contains minor spoilers (all stage titles) and lets you skip ahead to important points of the story by default. It is there for playtesting convenience and in case of a crash or having to close the game, as there is no save system. The best way to experience "HYPERION-I" is in one sitting!
Info:
Made from scratch in Godot during the month of October for the 2025 Toxic Terror Gamejam "SIT AND SURVIVE".
All coding, graphics, music and SFX made by winterbraid, except for the font, which is Green Screen by James Shields.
This is my first time participating in a gamejam, and my first (finished) game!

Can I just praise this game for the sheer amount of foreshadowing? There are things I didn't notice that was telling you something in advance until you replay the game again. It's brillant!
Thank you!💙
